CONSOLIDATED MOTION FOR CONSENT CALENDAR (5 min.) The purpose of the consolidated motion is to expedite action on routine agenda items. These contracts for goods and services conform with relevant laws and regulations, are consistent with industry best practices and are necessary to meet the needs of students and staff to support teaching and learning. 5.2 Authorize Disposal of Surplus Property & Equipment The disposal and surplus of property and equipment is governed by California Education Code, Board Policies and Administrative regulations. The timely surplus of outdated and unusable property and equipment is integral to ensuring safe and conducive teaching and learning environments. 5.3 Accept Uniform Complaint Quarterly Report The Williams Settlement requires school districts to submit quarterly reports to the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) on complaints each district has received related to instructional materials, emergency facilities issues, and teacher vacancies and misassignments. 5.4 Approve/Ratify Out of State Conference Board Policy 3350 requires that out-of-state travel be approved. Board Policy further establishes that the Governing Board shall authorize payment for actual and necessary expenses, incurred by any employee performing authorized services for the district. 5.5 California Energy Commission's California Schools Healthy Air, Plumbing, and Efficiency (CALSHAPE) Program Resolution 23-06-03
