THEY WERE ALL CHECKED OUT IN 30 MINUTES. SHE SELLS BOOKS, EVEN WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT'S ON THEIR COVER. SHE KNOWS EVERY STUDENT IN EVERY CLASS BECAUSE THEY ALL COME TO THE LIBRARY. SHE WELCOMES NEW STUDENTS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR AND SHE'S ONE OF THE LAST PEOPLE TO STUDENT SAYS GOODBYE TO THEM. THE PANDEMIC PIVOTED HER JOB AS WELL. SHE'S INSTRUMENTAL IN KEEPING TRACK OF OUR TECHNOLOGY AND HELPING STUDENTS TAKE GOOD CARE OF IT, AS WELL AS HELPING THEM UNDERSTAND DIGITAL LITERACY AND DIGITAL RESPONSIBILITY. I THINK THAT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING FOR EVERYONE TO UNDERSTAND IS THAT EVERYBODY WHO VOTED, ALL THE TRUSTEES, WE ALL FELT STRONGLY THAT IT WAS A SIGNIFICANT PROBLEM FOR THE COMMUNITY, AND REGARDLESS OF HOW I THINK ANYBODY VOTED, IT DIDN'T MEAN THAT THE ISSUE WAS ANY LESS IMPORTANT. THE DISAGREEMENT TO THE EXTENT THAT THERE WAS ANY DISAGREEMENT AMONG THE BOARD, IT WAS REALLY ABOUT HOW TO BEST APPROACH WHAT WE ALL CONSIDER AS A REALLY SIGNIFICANT PROBLEM.
